TEACHER TRAINING TRILOGY

WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US ON OUR 200 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING

A JOURNEY INTO DEEP SELF-DISCOVERY AND TRANSFORMATION

 

This 3 part series is designed for committed yoga students, aspiring yoga teachers as well as current yoga teachers looking for a tune-up, inspiration and for anyone who wants to take their yoga to a new level. The trilogy can be done as individual parts or as a whole, MSP™ 200 is accredited with Yoga Alliance. **Certification requires all 3 parts be completed. Each series will be approximately 3 weekends.

Part 1“The Immersion” will provide foundational tools and knowledge to deepen your practice and give you time to experience and explore so you can better integrate yoga into your lives

Part 2 “Bio Mechanics and the Bhagavad Gita” will focus on bio-mechanics, anatomy, sequencing and set the foundation for teaching. We will also explore the Bhagavad-Gita, invoking the archetype of the archer

Part 2 “The Matrix and the Art of Teaching” we will explore in great detail  how a class is assembled and the key components of theming, sequencing, cues, adjustments and finding your voice as a teacher.

 

PART 1 “THE IMMERSION” 50 HOURS

A JOURNEY INTO DEEP SELF-DISCOVERY AND TRANSFORMATION AS WE MAP THE PHYSICAL AND SUBTLE BODIES THROUGH YOGA AND MOVEMENT

This 50 hour program is designed for committed yoga students, aspiring yoga teachers as well as current yoga teachers looking for a tune-up and inspiration. The training provides tools and techniques to develop your practice and take your understanding of yoga to the next level.  

This Immersion will give you the opportunity to experience and explore your practices andallow you to integrate yoga deeper into your life. We will focus on Patanjali Sutras and the importance of nurturing both the physical practice as well as the more subtle practices such as meditation and breath work

  • Building and refining an integrated Asana practice using breath, foundation and primary energy flows
  • Intro to Anatomy, biomechanics and how to practice in a safe and sustainable way
  • Fundamentals of Breath (Pranayama) & Meditation
  • Yoga philosophy & history
  • Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - including the 8 Limbs 
  • Overview of the five elements (Maha Bhutas)

PART 2 “BIO MECHANICS & THE BHAGAVAD GITA” 

A JOURNEY INTO DEEP SELF-DISCOVERY AND TRANSFORMATION AS WE MAP THE PHYSICAL AND SUBTLE BODIES THROUGH YOGA AND MOVEMENT

Like dedicated scientists we will test, research and analyze so that we cultivate our understanding and knowledge of how the body moves. We will focus on anatomy, alignment and how clear cueing empowers us both as students/teachers with new tools and techniques. MSP™ is experiential and designed to assist students in finding harmony, expression and optimal health in their practice as well as in their lives. Biomechanics and the Bhagavad Gita is a wonderful way to experience new frontiers in our hearts, minds and bodies.

PART 3 “MOVEMENT, THE MATRIX & THE ART OF TEACHING”

A JOURNEY INTO DEEP SELF-DISCOVERY AND TRANSFORMATION AS WE MAP THE PHYSICAL AND SUBTLE BODIES THROUGH YOGA AND MOVEMENT

We will explore in detail how a class is assembled and the importance of proper alignment and biomechanics. This training will help you refine and become acutely aware of all aspects of teaching from anatomy, philosophy to the art of communication. This training is designed to help students & teachers expand their skills and give them a safe place to explore new possibilities. So please come join us on this journey into Movement, the Matrix and the Art of Teaching.
